The conventional book in offset printing is produced at significant initial costs in a first edition completely independent of the actual demand. More often, either too many copies are printed or the book is sold out. This is particularly unfavourable for the author and the publisher.

EAE makes use of print-to-order (PTO), a further development of the print-on-demand (POD) procedure. Here, books are permanently stored in a database. It can thus be printed at any time in the demanded quantities and sold in high-quality by conventional or online retailers. And even directly where it is required: In the USA, UK, Germany or anywhere in the world.

PTO enables us to publish fast and efficiently and to deliver all our books to any point in the world.

Fair book pricing policy

Our book prices usually range from 30 to 70 euros. As a matter of fact, digital printing of a single book involves more costs per unit than conventional print runs. Furthermore, the binding selling price determined by the publishing house depends on various other factors, such as the estimation of the marketable circulation, the specification and evaluation of the respective audiences, the variable production costs depending on the text volume, the project-related fixed costs, the anticipated marketing measures and the distribution channels and, more than anything, our experience.
As a means to optimize their potential readership, our authors are offered a unique and optional opportunity before their books’ release, to influence the book’s selling price on the market.

Advertising

The successful marketing of a book is a complex task. It starts with the evaluation of the marketability of the text by our editorial office. This means that if we offer you an author contract, you already know that your book is “in vogue”. Further key factors in the marketing process are the title, intelligent indexing, the cover image, the jacket text and the author portrait.

This data is optimized by the publishing house and entered in all relevant catalogues worldwide. The book is offered to the leading international book distributors. If they are positive about a title and enlist it, the whole industry can order the book for their customers at short notice.

As another important service of EAE, we offer free pdf review copies of the works to selected specialist journalists and editors for review.

Distribution

We currently distribute via all leading book wholesalers in the USA, the UK and Germany. This way our portfolio is available through amazon.com, amazon.co.uk, as well as via all British, American and German bookstores. Of course, you also find our titles at amazon.de, libri.de, buecher.de, buchkatalog.de and various other online shops – and at almost every conventional bookshop which can order our titles at short notice.
